Ingredients
Pizza Dough
12 ounces sweet Italian sausage, crumbled
15 oz Tuttorosso Crushed Tomatoes with Basil
dried oregano, to taste
8 oz shredded Cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
1 green bell pepper, diced
Directions
  1. Preheat oven using the directions on the pizza dough package.
  2. Cook the sausage and set it aside.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape and add it to a pizza stone or a parchment paper-lined sheet pan.
  4. Slowly add the Tuttorosso Classic Crushed Tomatoes with Basil on top of your dough. Use enough sauce to create an even layer.
  5. Add oregano and garlic powder on top of the crushed tomatoes. Add one layer of cheese, followed by a layer of crumbled sausage and diced green peppers.
  6. Bake until golden brown on top and the dough has a nice golden color on the bottom, about 20 minutes.
